The Comprehensive College at Armuli is one of a few schools
in Iceland which is participating in a developmental project
involving the use of ICT in the school environment. The College
thus places great emphasis on using ICT in teaching and learning.
The course NÁT103 (1st course in biology), is one
of the project courses in which we have utilised our knowledge
and experience in teaching and have tried to come up with
practical solutions while developing a framework for using
ICT in the classroom.
We have made an effort in making the students more active
in adapting to the new technology and making them use the
Internet as a source of information in their biology studies.
